How the Game Works

Blackjack Switch is played with six standard decks of 52 cards. After every round, the used cards are returned to the shoe and reshuffled. Cards from 2 to 10 count at face value, face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10, and Aces count as 1 or 11 depending on the hand's total.

Your goal is the same as in classic blackjack: get as close to 21 as possible without going over, and beat the dealer's total. If your cards exceed 21, you bust and lose the hand.

Placing Your Bets

You must place a bet on both hands to start playing. Placing a bet on one circle automatically places the same amount on the other. You can also make an optional Super Match side bet on the smaller circle in the center.

Minimum and maximum bet limits are shown on the table (for example, €1.00 — €100.00), and they apply only to the initial wager. Additional bets for actions such as Split, Double, or Insurance are always allowed even if your initial bet is at the table maximum.

Blackjack Switch Rules

The following rules describe how Blackjack Switch differs from standard blackjack and how each part of the game works.

Super Match Payouts

The Super Match side bet wins if your first four cards contain matching values. The payout table is shown on the felt:

• One pair — 1 to 1
• Three of a kind — 5 to 1
• Two pairs — 8 to 1
• Four of a kind — 40 to 1

Switching Cards

Before taking any action (Hit, Stand, Double, or Split), you may switch the top cards of your two hands. Switching lets you improve your totals strategically — for example, turning a weak 16 and 14 into a much stronger 20 and 10. Switching is allowed only once per deal and only before any other action.

Splitting and Doubling

If your first two cards are of the same value, you can split them into two separate hands by placing an additional bet equal to your original stake. You can draw as many cards as you like on each split hand, except when splitting Aces — each Ace receives only one card. A 21 made after splitting is counted as 21, not blackjack. You may double down after a split, except after splitting Aces.

When you double, your bet doubles, and you receive only one additional card.

Dealer Rules

• The dealer hits on soft 17 and stands on hard 17 or higher.
• The dealer peeks for blackjack when showing an Ace or a 10-value card.
• If the dealer reaches 22, all active hands push (no win or loss), except player blackjacks, which still win.
• If the dealer busts above 22, all remaining hands win.

Payouts

• Blackjack pays 1:1 (even money).
• Insurance pays 2:1 if the dealer has blackjack.
• Regular winning hands pay 1:1.
• If you and the dealer have the same total (17–21), it's a push.

Special Rules

• 10-Card Charlie: If you draw 10 cards without busting, your hand automatically wins (unless the dealer has blackjack).
• Dealer peek rule: If the dealer has blackjack and you don't, the round ends immediately. If one of your hands (before switching) also has blackjack, it results in a push.
